Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.

  • Professional Civil Engineering License.

  • Working knowledge & proficiency with AutoCAD.

  • Working knowledge & proficiency with ASCE 7-16 Design Loads & 2019 California Building Code provisions.

  • Design experience in Structural Systems, Analysis, Concrete, Steel, Masonry & Timber.

  • Ability to communicate clearly in written & graphic forms to explain concepts & ideas.

  • Ability to multi-task and integrate work on multiple assignments with overlapping priorities & schedules.

  • Disposition for organization & time management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project construction documents to company standards for principal review with limited supervision.

  • Perform design analysis & prepare calculations for projects assigned.

  • Perform field inspections of existing buildings and projects under construction with reports & exhibits of observations, repairs and/or corrections as required.

  • Meet with Clients and other Design Team Consultants to discuss project requirements, progress & design coordination.

  • Oversee & manage individual engineering projects for ongoing clients.
