Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
Professional Civil Engineering License.
Working knowledge & proficiency with AutoCAD.
Working knowledge & proficiency with ASCE 7-16 Design Loads & 2019 California Building Code provisions.
Design experience in Structural Systems, Analysis, Concrete, Steel, Masonry & Timber.
Ability to communicate clearly in written & graphic forms to explain concepts & ideas.
Ability to multi-task and integrate work on multiple assignments with overlapping priorities & schedules.
Disposition for organization & time management.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare project construction documents to company standards for principal review with limited supervision.
Perform design analysis & prepare calculations for projects assigned.
Perform field inspections of existing buildings and projects under construction with reports & exhibits of observations, repairs and/or corrections as required.
Meet with Clients and other Design Team Consultants to discuss project requirements, progress & design coordination.
Oversee & manage individual engineering projects for ongoing clients.
