Skyline Structural Engineering is currently led by Brent Cline, who serves as President and Principal Engineer of the company.  Brent began his structural career working for a small engineering firm while studying Architectural Engineering at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.  Upon graduating in 1997, he took a position with a large structural engineering firm in Oregon working on projects for such notable clients as Nike.

Returning to the Central Valley of California to start a family, he went to work for an established structural engineering firm in Fresno where he progressed to the role of an Associate within the firm.  After gaining more than a decade of experience and working with both small & large engineering offices, Brent opened Skyline Structural Engineering, Inc. in 2006 to blend the best of his previous work experiences and form a client oriented company focused on quality design.

Trenton brings a diverse experience of construction and practical design knowledge to his work here at Skyline. He began his career in 1999 working in the concrete construction industry as both a formwork and shoring designer as well as a project manager for a concrete contractor specializing in large scale projects and high-rise construction. During this time, he had the opportunity to work on several large projects including bridge approaches for the Oakland Bay Bridge and Hoover Dam bypass bridges along with multiple high-rise buildings and parking structures.

From this large-scale construction experience, it was the combination of curiosity and the desire to produce efficient design in the face of challenge that motivated Trenton to further develop his knowledge and skill in the engineering realm to pursue a career in Civil Engineering design. Earning his E.I.T. certification in 2004 and Civil Engineering License in 2010, Trenton has been a valued contributor to the work of Skyline since its inception and joined the Skyline staff full-time in 2013. Since then, he has continued to develop his engineering experience and knowledge in a variety of building types and materials to progress to his current role as Project Engineer. With a keen ability to flush out, dissect and solve hidden complexities within any given project, Trenton approaches each project with the same drive and desire for efficient design in the face of challenge that initially drew him to pursue a career in structural engineering.
